Digital Product License

This Digital Product License explains the general rules for using digital products purchased from Temply Studio, including digital planners, printable PDFs, worksheets, spreadsheet templates, SVG files, PNG graphics, DXF and EPS files, Canva templates, and other creative downloads.

This is a general license. The product description, included instructions, or a product-specific license may provide different or additional terms. When product-specific terms conflict with this general page, the product-specific terms apply to that product.

1. License Grant

When you purchase a Temply Studio digital product, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the supplied files according to the license stated on the product page. Copyright and ownership of the original files, designs, layouts, templates, and creative elements are not transferred to the purchaser.

A purchase does not provide unrestricted ownership, exclusivity, trademark rights, resale rights, or the right to distribute source files.

2. Default Personal-Use License

Unless the product page explicitly states that commercial use is included, the product is licensed for personal use by the purchaser.

Personal use may include:

  • using a digital planner or worksheet for your own planning, studying, budgeting, reflection, or organization;
  • printing permitted copies for your own use;
  • importing a compatible file into your personal planning or annotation app;
  • using SVG or graphic files for personal craft projects; and
  • saving a reasonable personal backup of the purchased files.

Personal use does not include sharing files with friends, family, coworkers, students, clients, customers, or online communities unless a product-specific license expressly permits it.

3. Commercial Use When Explicitly Included

Commercial use is available only when the individual product description or supplied license clearly says so. The scope can vary by product, file type, sales volume, platform, and intended end product.

When a product includes a standard commercial-use permission, it generally applies to permitted finished end products in which the original source file cannot be easily extracted or reused. Examples may include a physical shirt, sign, mug, card, decal, or other finished item created from an eligible design.

Commercial permission does not automatically allow resale of a digital planner, printable, spreadsheet, source template, SVG bundle, editable Canva link, or downloadable asset. It also does not grant rights to third-party trademarks, fonts, photos, software, or other separately licensed materials.

4. Prohibited Uses

Unless a product-specific license expressly states otherwise, you may not:

  • resell, redistribute, sublicense, lend, lease, donate, or give away the original files;
  • share download links, template links, source folders, or account access;
  • upload original files to public or private libraries, shared drives, membership sites, social groups, forums, or file-sharing services for others to access;
  • include original files in another digital bundle, starter kit, resource library, course download, or subscription product;
  • sell a lightly modified, recolored, resized, reformatted, traced, or converted version as a competing digital product;
  • claim authorship or exclusive ownership of Temply Studio designs;
  • register the original or substantially similar design as a trademark, copyright, design right, or other exclusive intellectual-property right;
  • use the files in an unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, or infringing manner;
  • use preview images, mockups, product photos, or listing graphics as the deliverable unless permission is explicitly stated; or
  • use a personal-use product for commercial activity.

5. Digital Planners, Printables, and Worksheets

Digital planners, printable pages, journals, and worksheets are normally for use by the purchaser. You may not distribute blank pages, editable pages, flattened copies, screenshots that reproduce substantial content, or recreated versions to other people.

Printing a personal copy does not create a right to sell printed copies. Classroom, team, client, organization, and multi-user use requires explicit permission or a suitable license.

6. SVG, PNG, DXF, and EPS Files

For graphic bundles, commercial rights depend on the product listing. When commercial use is included, use the design only in the permitted type of finished end product and within any stated limits.

You may not sell the source vector or raster file, provide it as a downloadable add-on, or upload it to a print-on-demand or production platform in a way that allows other users to access, customize, or extract the original design unless the license specifically permits that workflow.

7. Canva and Editable Templates

Only products explicitly described as editable include editing access. An editable template remains protected by copyright. Editing text, colors, images, fonts, or layout does not remove the license restrictions or create an unrestricted right to resell the template.

Do not share the original template link or transfer a reusable copy to another person. Canva assets, fonts, and platform features can be subject to Canva's own terms and account requirements.

8. Spreadsheet Templates

Spreadsheet templates may contain protected layouts, formulas, formatting, instructions, charts, and workflows. You may use an eligible file for your own planning or business operations as allowed by the listing, but you may not resell the spreadsheet, reproduce its structure as a competing template, or distribute it to unlicensed users.

9. Fonts, Mockups, and Third-Party Assets

Fonts, mockups, stock images, devices, app interfaces, and decorative assets shown in previews are not included unless the product page explicitly lists them. Third-party assets may have separate license terms. The purchaser is responsible for obtaining any additional rights required for their intended use.

10. Trademarks and Brand Names

Some product descriptions use third-party app, software, machine, or platform names only to explain compatibility or intended workflow. These names belong to their respective owners. Temply Studio products do not include a license to use third-party trademarks in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation.

11. Responsibility for the Final Use

You are responsible for confirming that your use complies with the product license, applicable laws, marketplace rules, platform terms, intellectual-property rights, and any industry-specific requirements. Commercial users should keep purchase records and a copy of the license that applied at the time of purchase.

12. License Violations

Use outside the applicable license can result in termination of permission to use the product. Temply Studio may request removal of infringing listings or files and may use available reporting or enforcement processes. Termination does not limit rights or remedies available under applicable law.

13. Questions About a Specific Use

Before purchasing or distributing a finished product, email support@templystudio.com or use the contact form. Include the exact Temply Studio product, the intended end product, whether it is physical or digital, the sales or distribution method, and whether the customer can access or edit the source design.
